Schiltwald Assessments
Identify potential, minimise risks, and safeguard decisions
Well-founded HR decisions require more than gut instinct. Our scientifically grounded assessments provide companies in Switzerland with an objective, robust basis—both for recruitment and for talent and leadership development.
The Schiltwald competency model
Our assessments are based on a holistic model with three core dimensions: personality, social competence and intellectual performance—supplemented by an in-depth analysis of integrity and compliance.
Personality – motives, values and development potential
The personality analysis provides insights into values, interests, resilience, self-concept, willingness to change and leadership style. This makes individual resources visible that are central to professional success and personal development.
We identify not only potential risk factors, but above all those personality traits that enable people to master demanding challenges, take responsibility and realise their potential over the long term.
Social competence – impact on others
Social competence largely determines how successfully people collaborate with employees, customers and other stakeholders. Our assessments capture, among other things, communication skills, empathy, conflict management, team orientation, persuasiveness and customer focus.
This highlights strengths that are crucial for leadership, collaboration and building sustainable relationships—as well as development areas that can be strengthened in a targeted way.
Intellectual performance – thinking and problem-solving skills
This dimension describes the ability to analyse complex situations, recognise interrelationships, make decisions and successfully master new challenges.
Our diagnostics show which cognitive resources a person has and in which areas there is particular potential for more demanding tasks, leadership responsibility or strategic roles.
Integrity – using potential responsibly
Potential only fully realises its value when it is used responsibly. That is why we complement the analysis of personality, social competence and intellectual performance with an in-depth assessment of integrity — among other things with a view to the so-called Dark Triad of personality, as well as other factors that may indicate potentially counterproductive behaviour.
The evaluation is always carried out in conjunction with other diagnostic methods, creating a nuanced picture that takes both opportunities and risks into account.
A holistic view of the individual
Our customers receive answers to key questions:
What strengths does the person bring?
What development potential is there?
Which tasks and roles are they particularly suited for?
Which competencies can be further developed in a targeted way?
Which risks should be taken into account?
How can the existing potential be used optimally?
This creates a holistic picture of the person, enabling well-founded decisions in recruitment, talent management, succession planning, leadership development and organisational development.
Our assessment offerings
Every question is unique. That is why we offer different assessment formats, tailored to your needs in terms of scope, diagnostic depth and objectives.
